Hole 10 - 203 yard Pard 3

All you want in a Par 3. Its a good idea to wait until the next hole to finish off that hot dog. This small green slopes significantly from back to front. Anything beyond the pin is only begging for Bogey (or worse), while anything short of the pin is likely not on the green. PAR IS A GOOD SCORE HERE!!!

Hole 11 - 382 yard Par 4

A well-placed drive slightly right will leave you a good look at the green with a mid- or short-iron. The fairway boasts a tree in the left center of the fairway about 90 yards off of the green. BEWARE... one of our few sand bunkers lurks just over the left edge of the green.

Hole 12 - 503 yard Par 5

The "reachable" downwind Par 5. Trees along the right side of the fairway require a tee-shot down the left center. Anything left of the fairway gathers into drainage valley that commands a punch back to the fairway. A good tee-shot will be rewarded with an opportunity to get home in two with a long-iron or routine fairway-wood.

Hole 13 - 179 Par 3

A mid-to-long-iron and you’re flying towards a two-tiered green. The beauty of this lake front hole can distract from the task at hand. Trees guarding both sides of the fairway command a straight shot, so keep your focus.

Hole 14 - 474 Par 5

The preferred landing area is about 230 yards right down the middle. The second shot must carry over an old silted in lake (that is actually playable) while being mindful of trees near the landing area. The long hitters will go for the green in two. The traditonal winds will be in your face on the up hill approach making it play a little longer than the actual distance. The green slopes from back to front.

Hole 15 - 406 yard Par 5

Rated the toughest hole at The Cape... and rightfully so. A solid drive down the left side with a ball that moves gently right is required to find a reasonable approach to this dog-leg right. Trouble lurks both left and right off of the tee. A steep uphill slope to the green will add 1 to 2 clubs to your approach distance. Then the small green slopes significantly from back to front. Try to keep the ball below the hole, and your score below a Bogey.

Hole 16 - 431 yard Par 4

Most beautiful hole at The Cape with yet another gorgeous view of Lake Livingston from the Tee Box. Favor the left side of the fairway, but straightness off the tee is a must to this down hill and traditionally down wind hole that should play shorter than the posted 430 yards. A mid- to short-iron typically finds a relatively flat green, that tends to break toward the back.

Hole 17 - 173 yard Par 3

A nice mid-iron into the face of the traditonal breeze should put you on a small putting surface. Too far right and your in the bush... too far left and your facing a challenging chip to a green that slopes from left to right. A fun hole that requires focus and can be deceiving toward the end of your round.

Hole 18 - 361 yard Par 4

A long, straight drive leaves you with just a wedge to the green. Trouble lines both sides of the fairway. The green, which slopes significantly from left to right, has a tendacy to be faster than it looks.
